The Mission of the National Wrestling Officials Association (NWOA) is to provide training and support to our officials in their pursuit of becoming the best in their field through elevating our officials in their craft to make the correct call using proficient knowledge of the rules. How NWOA Began
The National Wrestling Officials Association was founded to address a critical need in the wrestling community: a unified national organization dedicated to supporting wrestling officials at every level. For too long, officials operated in isolation, learning through trial and error without consistent training, clear standards, or a professional community to turn to for support.
NWOA brings together officials from across the country who are committed to professional growth, rule mastery, and delivering quality officiating that serves wrestlers, coaches, and families at every level of competition. Through comprehensive training programs, ongoing education, and a national network of experienced officials, NWOA is building the standard for what professional wrestling officiating should be.
